Moist, well draining soils. Adaptable to most soil types and conditions

Bright pink flower buds open to show off fragrant, white flowers in large snowball like clusters

Early to mid spring on old wood

Coarse dark green simple leaves during the growing season

Foliage turns red with undertones of yellow/orange

Tolerances: Deer, drought once established, poor soils

Attracts: Bees, butterflies, humming birds

After viburnums flower clusters of fruits will take their place. Fruiting will be more prolific if you have another viburnum.
