Moist, well draining soil. Adaptable to most soil types and conditions but will not do well in dry alkaline soils

Blooms mid spring on old wood

Small green leaves with irregular serrated margins

Foliage turns an orange-red in the fall

Tolerances: Deer, more resistance to disease
